How the house works

Degenhaus is a floor of trading books on Solana. Somebody runs each book; anybody can back one. This page is the whole of it — nine sections, no fine print somewhere else.

01What this is

Two roles, one floor. A manager runs a book and trades it. A backer puts money behind a book and shares in what it makes after that. Managers earn a cut of the gains they produce; backers keep the rest.

One wallet may run one book. There is no application and no invite — open a book and it is on the floor from that moment, at the bottom, where every book starts.

02Signing in, on three chains

You can sign in from Solana, Robinhood Chain or BNB Chain. Whichever you use, connecting asks your wallet to sign one short statement — that proves the address is yours and opens a session. It is a message signature, not a transaction: nothing moves, and no network fee is paid.

Solana wallets sign ed25519; the two EVM chains sign throughpersonal_sign, and the house recovers the signer and checks it against the address you claimed. Your wallet is found by asking the browser what is installed, so whatever you have turns up — no wallet fights another for the connection.

The chain is read from your wallet rather than assumed, and written into the statement you sign. The house does not hard-code a chain id it has not confirmed, because a wrong one would put a false claim in front of somebody about to sign.

One thing to be clear about: the chain is how you sign in. The floor itself is denominated in SOL, and every book, figure and fee on it is quoted that way, whichever wallet you arrived with.

A session says who you are. It does not say what you agreed to — so every action after it asks your wallet again, for a statement that names that one action in words: the amount, the book, the fee. Read what your wallet shows you. If the statement does not describe what you meant to do, refuse it.

The house checks each signature against the statement it wrote itself, never against whatever the browser sends back. A signature over anything else authorises nothing.

03Backing a book

  1. Open the floor and read a book's closed trades. Its seat, its win rate and its average hold all come from those trades — not from how much money it holds.
  2. Enter an amount, sign the statement, and the stake is placed.
  3. You share in trades the manager opens after your stake lands. Later backers do not dilute earlier ones.
  4. Withdraw takes principal back, with no fee on it ever. Bank takes realised profit, which is where the fee applies. Compound turns that same profit into principal instead.

04Running a book

  1. Open a book from My book. Give it a name, a lane, and your profit fee.
  2. Fund it. A book that holds nothing cannot trade — the buy box stays shut until there is something in it.
  3. Buy by pasting a token address and an amount. Sell a quarter, a half, or the lot. Every one of those is its own signed statement.
  4. The name and the lane can change later. The fee cannot. It is set the moment the book opens, so that nobody who backed you at 15% wakes up on 25%.

05The fee, exactly

One fee exists: the manager's cut of profit, capped by the house at 25%. There is no management fee, no deposit minimum and no exit fee.

It runs on a high-water mark. Your stake has a line it must clear before anything counts as profit, and that line only ever moves up. So a book that loses 20% and then makes 20% back charges you nothing — you are square, and being square is not a gain.

Worked throughYou back a book at 20% with 10 SOL. It runs to 13. Your profit is 3; banking it sends 0.6 to the manager and 2.4 to you. Your 10 of principal was never touched, and your line is now 10 again — the next 3 SOL of gain is charged from scratch, not twice.

06How seats are ranked

Every book has a numbered seat. Seats are ordered by house points, and points come from what a book has actually returned on closed positions — not from how much it holds, how many backers it has, or how long it has been open.

That is why most of the floor sits at zero. A book that has never closed a position has not earned a number worth reading, and the house would rather show you an honest empty row than a flattering one.

07Paper, and what is real

Balances here are paper. The house does not transfer, hold or custody SOL, has no key to your wallet, and will never ask you for one. Nothing on this site can move funds out of your wallet, because nothing on this site has ever been given the ability to.

The tokens are real, and that is worth being precise about. Every token on the floor is a live Solana mint; its name, symbol, logo and market cap are read from its own metadata account on chain. The trades attached to them are not real. Nobody here made that profit on that token — the books, the fills and the figures are fixed data shipped with the site so the interface has something honest-looking to be judged against. Read a row as a worked example, never as somebody's record.

What is real is the signing. Specifically:

  • Your wallet, discovered through Wallet Standard — whichever one you have installed.
  • Every signature, checked with ed25519 against your address on the server.
  • Every statement, written by the house before you sign and matched against your signature afterwards.
  • Each token's identity and market cap, resolved from its Metaplex metadata account and refreshed by a build step rather than fetched while you read.
  • The floor's books, trades and seats are the exception: fixed data, not a live feed, and not anybody's trading record.

Open positions on your own book are marked from a stand-in that drifts over time. It is not a price feed and is not presented as one.

08Risk, in plain words

  • A win rate is a record, not a forecast. Seat one today has been seat forty before.
  • Books here trade small, fast tokens. Most of them go to zero.
  • Money in an open position is committed until the manager closes it.
  • Never sign a statement you have not read. That holds everywhere, not only here.

09The house token

The $DEGENHAUS mark

$DEGENHAUS

Degenhaus · Solana · not trading yet

$DEGENHAUS is the token of the house. It is not trading yet, and the mint carried by this build is a placeholder until it launches — which is why the footer says so instead of linking to a market that is not there.

Lockups and vesting, when there are any, live on Streamflow. Announcements go out on X.

The floor never closes.
